Welcome to AllStar Youth Radio

Allstar Youth Radio is a radio station and media project managed by young people aged 13-25.

We broadcast across Bradford and Leeds on DAB+ and across the world online.

Our aim is to provide a platform for young people to share their voice and views whilst providing them with an opportunity to learn new skills, experiences and develop their creativity.

We broadcast a range of thought provoking speech based programmes, local news and specialist music shows.

Get involved:

We are always looking for young people to get involved in Allstar Youth Radio. There are a variety of ways to get involved, including:

  • Music presenter: Select and play music for the station, as well as interviewing artists and bands.

  • Station volunteer: Help with all aspects of running the radio station, from answering phones to producing shows.

  • Other roles: We are also looking for people to help with other tasks such as social media, marketing, and administration.

No experience is necessary for any of these roles, and full training and support will be provided.

Getting involved in Allstar Youth Radio is a great way to:

  • Learn new skills in radio production, presenting, and interviewing

  • Gain experience in the media industry

  • Make new friends and meet other young people who are passionate about radio

  • Make a difference in your community and have your voice heard

  • Have fun and be creative!

Young people are involved in all aspects of the station.
